Synopsis

Spinning out of the events of Dark Crisis, the Guardians of Oa at the heart of the Green Lantern Corps have quarantined Sector 2814, home of the planet Earth—and its champion along with it! A heartbreaking defeat has sent Hal reeling, returning home to rediscover his roots...and find the man responsible for ruining his life: Sinestro.

Plot

Back on Earth

Present- Hal Jordan is back on Earth and some how has regained his Green Lantern Powers. He uses those power to save some miners and hit on Carol Ferris, who now has a boyfriend denies Hal's advances. She does feel sorry for her ex and gives Hal a chance to get a job at Ferris Air, but Hal blows it when he crashes his drone due to his showboating.

One Month Ago- Hal is powerless and penniless living in his brother trailer, when he hears a report of an attack in Star City. Always the hero, Hal rushes in and founds himself face to face with Steel Fury, a villan in Manhunter armor. When Steel Fury blasts Hal, instead of becoming ash the blast recharges Hal and he is once again his Green Lantern self, at least for now.

Rise of the Revenant Queen, Part One

In another Universe, at another Time- A pair of last remaining Green Lanterns Caolan Sheperd and Guy Gardner try to hold back the Revenant Queen and her army of Radiant Dead, but they are unsuccessful, and it appears the Queen might snuff out the Green Lantern Light.

Meanwhile, in our Universe, John Stewart goes back home to help take care of his ailing mother, Shirley Stewart. He has decided to lay down the super hero life in attempt to get back to a normal life.
